Setup Guide - Bitaxe Gamma

01

Plug the PSU into a surge protected outlet, and then into the miner.

02

The miner creates a temporary open Wi-Fi hotspot once powered on, named Bitaxe_XXXX (XXXX is unique to your device, shown on the OLED screen). No password is needed—connect directly, then visit 192.168.4.1 to input your Wi-Fi credentials into the miner so that it can connect.

03

Once the miner is connected to your WiFi, you'll need to reconnect your phone or computer to your own WiFi network, and to the miner's new IP address, which should flash across the OLED screen.

04

Configure your miner by entering your desired pool's URL, your bitcoin wallet, and a username for your miner (if you want). If you are unsure of how to obtain a bitcoin wallet, or of which pool to use, please do not hesitate to reach out for advice.

Once connected, open a web browser and type exactly: 192.168.4.1 (or the IP shown on the screen). Press enter. You’ll see the NerdMiner setup page.

The NerdMiner creates its own temporary Wi-Fi hotspot. Look at the screen — it shows a name like "NerdMiner-XXXX" (XXXX is unique to your device).

The password is: MineYourCoins

On your phone or computer, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to that network.
